Squall Leonhart
I was OBSSESSED with Squall/FF8 around the time it was released in 1999. Loved him. I even printed out a picture of him and stuck it on the wall next to my bed. I still have a figurine! But yeah, he was a beautiful moody jerk and I loved the shit out of him.

Ygritte knows everything.
Ygritte from Game of Thrones/Song of Ice and Fire. She says that a lot. Daily drawings have turned into everyotherday drawings...
Also my new skates came today but I think they might be too small :( I know skates are supposed to be snug but these are super super small, and my toes are all scrunched.. I emailed the website and he said to give it a few days so we'll see. Ho hum. But they're SO PRETTY.

Nobody messes with Sailor Jupiter and lives.
Ha, I love drawing like this. LOOOOVE. And the zombie eyes make a return! <3
Still not brave enough to do a full body complete with arms and hands and stuff.. Maybe one day.
Anyway, badass Sailor Jupiter/Makoto from Sailor Moon. I've been working my way through Sailor Moon S lately, as I only watched up to the end of R on the TV many years ago, and oh god it's so brilliant, I'm going to go watch some more RIGHT NOW.

Flat flat flat
I HAVE A FLAT. ALMOST OFFICIALLY!
I viewed one today, then thought about it a bit, then applied for it and then GOT IT within about an hour of applying. EXCITING!
Now comes the seeing if I can survive with paying that much rent a month.. It was at the top end of my price range so it'll be tight but we'll see! It's not ready until the middle of next month so I have time to sort out finances and actual furniture (Ikea) but then boom, independent living, like a real grown up. I may get a pet.
But yeah here's me in my super cool new kitchen/living room. Or at least an artist's impression of me.

flats & boys & friends & jobs
Can't decide which one I like best. This is basically me today. Really struggling to find a decent flat in this area for my price range, which is really getting me down.. So therefore I'm thinking about moving away to an area where I CAN afford a place, which means looking for another job which leads to MORE stress because I have no idea if the skills I have are actually useful to anyone. I need the exact job I have now, but somewhere else and for more money! I was thinking about Bristol, because it was so nice there when I visited Anna and Rob - like a city but not really, if you get what I mean? Not London, I don't like London.
My friend has pissed me off and I can't really avoid her so I'll probably just be seething for the next few days.
Oh, and I can't move because I'm too scared to leave the boy. But then I HAVE to move so I can finally get over the boy...
Going to try and draw every day now, even if it's just stupid emo shit like this.

Can't draw arms/hands! STILL!
I've been trying to break away from drawing all neat and "one-line"y lately, and adopting this kind of fast, sketchy style like above - and I really like it. This is more the way I draw with pencil&paper, and somehow it never occurred to me that I could draw with my tablet like it too, but now I can and it feels pretty awesome!
Obviously roller derby. I debated making her a zombie, but then held back. She's just got zombie eyes. Oh, and no arms because I can't draw arms/hands properly and I had no idea what position they should be in, so I just left it. Maybe I'll come back to it later and finish her off. I'm actually really proud of this one, no-one else'll think so, but I like it. I need to look into poses and anatomy more, so maybe I can actually end up drawing a whole person one day.
Speaking of roller derby, I bought new skates last week! Expensive Vanilla Brass Knuckle skates, which need to come from America, but oh god they are so pretty. I just hope they fit, because skate sizing is strange I ordered a size down from my usual size, so fingers crossed I can fit in a 5. If not the site I bought them from has free refunds/exchanges so it's no big deal, but it would be nice for them to be awesome right out of the box! Which means I need to sell my old starter skates, hopefully I can get about £45-50 for them as I bought them for £75 but have properly scuffed them (because I fall over a lot), but they're still good for a rookie.
..And then I drew Sailor Moon! From memory! See what I mean about arms? Eesh.

Daenerys. Mother of EATING HEARTS.
First time I've sat down and actually seriously drawn anything for ages. This is a bit of a departure from my usual style, it's a bit scrappy and fast, but I think I like it for this one. I was supposed to be doing actual proper drawings for my friend Dave but I kinda got sidetracked and this happened. Oops.
I wish she was still eating hearts and being a badass, but alas..
Also, I didn't get the internship job at Red Bull Racing, boo! I guess they don't appreciate drawings of dragons.
